Abuja court sack embattled PDP chairman

An Abuja High court, today, Wednesday, June 29, 2016, has sacked Ali Modu Sheriff as the chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Sheriff earlier insisted that he is the leader of the party, adding that he will only leave the office when due process is followed

According to Nigeria Today, the court nullified the 2014 constitution of the party that brought Sheriff into office.

This is coming after the embattled PDP chairman appointed his national deputy chairman.
