PENGASSAN have suspended it's industrial action

The PENGASSAN strike that started last week has been suspended in the early hours of today 13th July 2016.

This was announced to the PENGASSAN members by the union secretary in a memo this morning

"After two days of exhaustive deliberations between government and PENGASSAN which lasted up to the early hours of today and a subsequent NEC meeting that finished around 4:15am today 13th July 2016, the industrial action embarked upon is hereby suspended. A communique was signed, details will come later. All our members are to resume work immediately. We thank our members for the Steadfastness, Understanding and Solidarity. Group Secretary, PENGASSAN NNPC"
