PICTURES from the peaceful protest of Bokkos youth that turned violent on the students of the NTA College Jos yesterday

Yesterday, Thursday 21 July 2016, the youth of Bokkos organized a peaceful protest over the killing of their chief,  a 1st class monarch in plateau State, the Saf Ron Kulere, Da Lazarus Agai by unknown gunmen. 
The peaceful protest was rudely attacked by the men of the police force and civil defense and the peaceful protest turned violent, those protesting were tear gassed, beaten and chased out of the government House. 

It was violence against those protesting not until the NTA College student thought the event was news worthy and decided to cover it as journalists that the table turned.


The student camera were seized, another arrested and Uren (the lady pictured above) was running for both her life and that of her camera. 
She was followed by the police men to school gate, harassed and beaten, that was when the college student got involved with the men of the police force who threatened to shoot any student that stood on their way before arresting few student. 

The student of the college decided to block the road that leads to the government House giving their condition that the arrested students must be freed and seized cameras returned before the road block would be cleared.

Students and those protesting who were arrested were bailed and their cameras given back to them and all activities  around the college and the government House have returned to normal.
