PDP National Convention: Panic around Sharks Stadium as soldiers shoot sporadically, beat up journalists
The impunity of the Buhari administration got to an all time low this morning as Soldiers who invaded the Sharks Stadium, venue of the PDP National Convention are now shooting sporadically into the air.
About eight early journalists who got to the venue by 5am and attempted taking photographs were mercilessly beaten up by security agents and their cameras seized.
Five journalists were abducted by the Army Personnel, thrown into a Hilux van and driven away to an unknown destination.
Efforts to get the comments of the Rivers State Police spokesman, Nnamdi Omoni have proved abortive.
However, more trucks of military personnel arrived the Sharks Stadium by 6.30am to reinforce the illegal security ordered by President Muhammadu Buhari to stop the PDP National Convention.
