Suspend your US trips, Islamic group warns Nigerian Muslims


On Wednesday, November 9, the United States of America concluded its election for 2016. The result of the election saw US businessman Donald Trump as the 45th US President-elect.
However, after the announcement of the winner and congratulatory messages from all corner of the globe, the Muslim Rights Concern (MURIC) has warned all Nigerian Muslims planning to travel to the US to suspend their trips.

 The group said Trump’s victory is a bad sign for all Muslims. In a statement signed by MURIC director, Ishaq Akintola: “Americanization of virtually everything coupled with his tortuous isolationism and a pathological obsession with Islamophobia.” READ ALSO: Nnamdi Kanu writes Donald Trump from prison, lists how US can benefit from Biafra Akintola said Trump’s victory has negative implications for Muslims in the US and across the globe.
 “The contemptuous treatment of Muslims travelling in or out of America has long been a matter of serious concern to advocates of free movement and Allah-given fundamental human rights. “Coupled with this is the horrendous policy of rendition whereby Muslims are kidnapped en route other destinations and forcefully taken to the dreaded Guatemala to face America’s notorious water budding and other forms of inhuman treatment.
