A Message of Hope For Nigerians By A beast of no known nation

Baba Iyabo's first and second coming were as a result of the demise of his predecessors. Dogo Dan Daura's first and second appearances were as a result of truncating democratically elected leaders. On Daura's first appearance, he was shown the way out by a group of patriotic nationalists whose nationalism was eventually bastardised. Today, just like in the eighties, a group of nationalists will rise too and chase Dogo Dan Daura and his hoards of sectionalists out of power for a more united Nigeria.

For those wondering how he truncated democracy for the second time, ask yourselves few questions:

Why were Muslim Northern PDP members harassed with their houses and properties burnt to the ground and some of them even killed before it degenerated to include an orgy of violence against Christians after Goodluck was declared winner in 2011? Does this appear to you like the perpetrators of such barbarity respect freedom of thoughts and association? What then is democracy without such freedoms? Who were the perpetrators of such satanic massacres? Ofcourse Buhari's CPC supremacists with his tacit blessings. How do you expect people to follow their political and ideological leanings with a Buhari dagger on their necks forbidding them. Then you have a campaign slogan that buttresses the above: 'Canji Dole'. Does 'Dole' sound like democracy to you? Where is democracy if there is no freedom of choice? Those who dared the 'Dole' slogan, resisted the dictatorial change and stuck to their political and ideological beliefs were those languishing in different EFCC and other related cells across the country today. Those who asserted their democratic rights to freedom of thoughts and association and resisted the 'Dole' change, as a people, are those facing military and fulani herdsmen occupation of their lands today. Talking about the south-east and south-south people. The slogan 'Canji Dole' in reality means, 'vote for me in exchange for your right to live'. The crux of the matter is: Buhari truncated democracy for the second time and his first one year in office was deliberately dedicated to removing any vestige of democracy in the Nigerian system of governance with him as the absolutist.

There is a religious movement right now in the north known as Buharism; and its adherents known as buharists. Among the buharists, you find fanatics known as the buharimaniacs. The fanatics are something else. The other day I wrote that Buhari has made one of his 150 cows a senator and a buharimaniac quickly added - congratulations Honourable Senator. To the Buharimaniacs, everything Buhari, including his fart is sacred and never to be profaned against. You dare not express yourself freely against Buhari, you risk being accused of blasphemy and summarily executed. When Atiku criticised Buhari, we heard he was invited to answer a query even though Atiku himself debunked that claim. Makarfi had to agree that Buhari's war on Corruption is not politically motivated so as to sound 'buharistically' correct or risk the wrath of buharimaniacs that abound in the north where his interest lies.

From the above, you will agree with me that Buhari has smashed the calabash of democracy in this country and he is doing anyhow in government with minding the feelings of the populace because in the final analysis, power no longer rest with the people, but with the despot.

However like I said earlier, there is hope. The same forces that put him there, will take him out. Niyi Osundare captured it better where he asked is it not the same heat that forged the padlock that also forge the key? Buhari will soon be shown the way out. One man can not sit on the will of the people. The same Nigeria will forge the key that will unlock the citizens from the padlock of Buhari.

This is wishing the noble Nehemiah Yari a wonderful birthday wish.
