Dasuki's lawyer denies that FG offered to let him attend his father's funeral
Counsel to detained former National Security Adviser, retired Colonel Sambo Dasuki, Ahmed Raji, says none of Dasuki's legal team is aware of the permission the Federal government reportedly granted their client to attend his Father, Ibrahim Dasuki's funeral yesterday November 15th.
Minister of Interior, Abdulrahman Dambazzau, told newsmen after the funeral that Dasuki declined permission granted to him by the government to leave his DSS detention cell and attend his Father's funeral.
Speaking to newsmen at the FCT High Court Abuja today, Dasuki's counsel said neither him nor any of the legal representatives received any letter to this effect and that if Dasuki was given permission as claimed, he would have told them.

“As his counsel, we are not aware of that offer. Our client has not told us anything of that nature. We would have expected that if such a gesture was going to be made to him, we as his counsel should have been involved so that we can advise him properly. As I am speaking to you, I am hearing of this for the first time.”he said
