HALLIBURTON: Again, Aisha Buhari Shuns Event At White House, Sends Toyin Saraki To Represent Her

Again, Mrs. Aisha Buhari, wife of the Nigerian President, Muhammadu Buhari, oils the wheels of her critics, who accuse her of avoiding trip to the United States of America due to her criminal involvement in the Halliburton case, as she sent Mrs. Toyin Saraki to represent her at the White House summit on global development
It’s questionable, why Aisha Buhari who allegedly donated proceeds of her book launch to support Chibok girls parents and on the other hand, to education, would miss that great opportunity to meet first Lady Michelle Obama and other great women, Presidents’ wives from around the world, if she’s not a wanted person in the U.S

This is the second time Aisha Buhari will send Mrs. Toyin Saraki, wife of the Nigerian Senate President, to represent her in events held in U.S. Toyin Saraki represented her at U.N meeting of Organization of African First Ladies against HIV/AIDS (OAFLA) in New York, late last year
The global development summit which was held days ago in Washington DC marked the achievements and progress of the international community and affirm President Obama’s commitment to global development as a priority.
The summit aimed to unite all facets of the global development community, from civil society to the private sector.
Toyin Saraki who is a global gender advocate was to affirm in her speech, the commitment and dedication of The ‘Wellbeing Foundation Africa’ to the empowerment of women and girls in Nigeria and across the African continent.
She was also scheduled to speak on education as a human right without which societies will not prosper; laying emphasis on girls and women empowerment which will enable the world achieve true success across the global development goals.
Toyin will equally appreciate President Obama and First Lady Michelle Obama for their continued push for the rights of women and girls around the world to receive one of the most important life tools – education – through the Let Girls Learn campaign.
The White House Summit on Global Development will have development leaders, public and private sector partners, civil society, diplomats, and entrepreneurs contribute to global health, energy, food security, good governance, partnership, and youth engagement.
