Kaduna Will Be Great Again - 350 By George Makeri

In this business of making Kaduna Great Again, we have come to the conclusion that Governor Nasir El-Rufai of Kaduna State is one of the best governors in Nigeria in over 56 years of the country's existence. His round-the-clock effort and sincerity is legendary and echoing across the length and breath of the Pacific, the Indian, the Arctic, the Antarctic and the Atlantic. He has been holding serious security meetings with lofty and noble intentions of ensuring his primary constitutional responsibility of securing of lives and properties of all citizens in the state irrespective of their ethnic nor religious leanings.

His honesty and handwork make  lawlessness and insecurity to be on the increase. In just one week, the state has witnessed gory violence in the three senatorial zones - manifestations typical of hard work only of El-Rufai. We have a man, Isah Adamu married with four children, hacked to death by fulani terrorists in Gada Biyu Godogodo Chiefdom of Jama'a Local Goverment Area zone three. The following day, armed Muslim youths took the law into their arms to unleash violence in Kakuri Zone two with the murder of the leader of the civilian JTF and four others as well as burning of houses, just like it happened in Zamfara. Just yesterday 31 August, information reaching us revealed of a fracas, resulting to destruction, in Nuhu Bamali Polytechnic Zaria Zone one that has to do with injustice against the Christian Students with a Police force and school authorities always siding with the Muslim Students whenever they commit crimes. If you don't consider these things the product of Governor El-Rufai's round-the-clock hard work and sincerity, we do.

According to a Netzit Patriotic Front Frontman, who went to Gada Biyu on an on-the-spot assessment of the situation, he was only able to see few youths in Gada biyu - there were no women, the elderly and no children around. Even the youth were hungry he had to assist with some monies for their breakfast that day. He said there was no single food crop standing as either the terrorist fulanis have eaten them with their cows or have levelled them to the ground with their cutlasses. He foresaw great hunger in that neighbourhood. Again he confirmed my earlier assertion that the soldiers were not securing the people rather compounding their woes. This is self-evident from the arrest of native boys by the soldiers for being in possession of dane guns to defend themselves against RPGs-wielding terrorist fulanis with no single arrest of the fulanis. Infact, the fulanis always take refuge in the deserted Ninte villages and the soldiers fully aware, but no arrest effected. The massacre of six youth thereafter, even in the presence of the soldiers, is another evidence that the soldiers were useless and have no business remaining there. The youth told the Netzit Compadre that the soldiers should leave. They admitted that the police did a better job than the soldiers.

In a related development, the notorious police Area Commander Ibrahim Abubakar was rumoured to have collected gratifications from the terrorist fulanis to allow for easy access and the fulanis were not happy that the James Ashafa led police team repelled them and frustrated their grand design. It is clear that the Area Commander is obviously struggling to come clean on the deal and more damage could be registered around such area by the fulani terrorists unless government takes a more forceful approach like it did against cattle rustlers. But then the El-Rufai government is working hard. It is easier to set up a task force and fund them to go after cattle rustlers in the thick forest of Birnin Gwari than to direct soldiers to lay siege on Ninte village and arrest human murderers. The soldiers are also working round-the-clock in arresting the victims and supervising their deaths while being compromised by the fulanis. Based on El-Rufai's hard work, he ensured the CO of the soldiers is a Hausa Fulani 2nd lieutenant, disposed to favour the fulani murderers in a deliberate attempt to compromise and frustrate the operation and leave the people at the mercy of the fulanis. El-Rufai is not that satan in Kashim Ibrahim House, he is a saint. We heard that a younger sister to Yakowa's wife is staged to be expelled from KASUPDA on a trump up charge of allowing some people to build in Gbagyi Villa. So much for a sincere governor working around the clock.

Perhaps blood and more of blood is what the round-the-clock hardworking governor needs to make Kaduna great again.
