(GRAPHIC PICTURE) 31 Killed In Southern Kaduna, Day After el-Rufai launched Public Apology Billboard
Just a day after Governor Nasir Ahmad el-Rufai launched a public apology billboard, 13 people have been reported killed in Chawai Chiedom, Kamaru Ward in Kauru LGA of Kaduna State, Elanza News has gathered.
el-Rufai had during the unveiling of the public apology billboard in Samaru Kataf of Zangon Kataf LGA said the state government would prosecute people who called on locals to defend their communities.
The billboard was unveiled on Saturday 12 Nov 2016, the same day the new Agwatyap of the Atyap people received his staff of office.
Elanza News reports that four communities of Ungwan Rimi, Kitakum, Ungwan Magaji and Kigam all in Kauru LGA were attacked on Sunday. Men, Women including little children were killed.

31 people were killed in the attack while about 46 houses were burnt, it was gathered.
Residents in conjunction with the leadership of the Southern Kaduna Peoples Union (SOKAPU) have compiled a list of the houses that were destroyed and put the death toll at 31.
The list which was made available to Elanza News indicates that in Ungwan Rimi, 2 people were killed, Kitakum, 1 person killed, Ungwan Magaji, 17 people killed, while Kigam community recorded 11 dead, totalling 31 people killed in the Sunday’s attacked.
An eyes witness said in Kidam community, no single house was left un burnt while two surviving locals are receiving treatment in a hospital.
The Police and the Kaduna state government are yet to make an official statements concerning the latest killings.
