KADUNA APC CRISIS: Nasiru is my brother..." Senator Hunkuyi

The Senator representing Kaduna North Senatorial District Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi has alleged that Kaduna State Government has a grand sinister plan to blackmail him and his political associates in what will appear as vengeance by the Senator over the recent demolition of his house at No. 11B, Sambo Road, Kaduna.

The Senator stated this while briefing newsmen in Kaduna about the malicious plan by the Kaduna State Government.



“Firstly, on behalf of myself, my family and political associates, I wish to thank the good people of Kaduna State men and women, young and old who showed their concern and sympathy over the demolition of one of my buildings which I leased out to Kaduna State chapter of All Progressives Congress (APC). I don't have anything to say more than thank you and may God Almighty reward you most abundantly”.

Speaking further, Hunkuyi urged his supporters to respect the laws of Nigeria and Kaduna State, in his words  “I would like to equally use this opportunity to call on all our supporters across the 23 Local Government Areas of Kaduna State to be patient and desist from doing anything or uttering words that are considered offensive to the laws of our land and continue as law abiding citizens”.

Senator Hunkuyi also added that "Nasiru is my brother, I have forgiven him over what he did to me. Even if he did it ignorantly or willfully, I have forgiven him and this should serve as a lesson to him and anybody that anything done out of anger won't bring out good result".

The Senator equally drew the attention of the entire people of Kaduna State, security agencies both within the state and at the national level to a sinister plan by Kaduna State Government to set him and his political associates up in what will appear as vengeance over the recent demolition of his property by the Kaduna State Government.

He further stated that vengeance is of the Lord as it is not in our culture to take laws into our hands.

Senator Suleiman Othman Hunkuyi finally prayed God to give Kaduna State lasting peace.
